Elle has a background in psychology (MSc) and suicide prevention, as well as in the mental health innovation space with Big Chats. As a mental health professional, she is particularly interested in supporting professionals and community members of people with mental health concerns by providing education, resources and advice on relevant topics.

In this presentation Elle will discuss:

Primary and community-based health services have been identified as local, friendly, and non-stigmatising environments  for mental health care. Particular skills are required to effectively assess and support people with their mental health.

In this webinar, attendees will learn about recent updates in mental health research, as pertains to primary and rural healthcare in Aotearoa, and know how to translate this into their mahi.
