Paediatric Gastroenterologist, University of Otago Christchurch and Christchurch Hospital
Professor Andrew Day undertook his paediatric training in Christchurch, completed a Paediatric Gastroenterology Fellowship at Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada and subsequently took up a joint clinical academic position in Sydney returning to Christchurch in 2009. His extensive research interests and endeavours have had a particular focus upon coeliac disease and inflammatory bowel disease. Andrew chairs the medical advisory panel of Coeliac NZ and is also a member of the Medical Advisory Committee of Coeliac Australia.
