Bio: Aisha was raised and trained in London and been in NZ since 2015. She held multiple roles in addition to her GP role, including GP Trainer, GPwSI Paediatrics, Ministry of Defence GP and Telephone triage for RCGP, Primary care, Urgent care and the ambulance service. She was the Child Protection lead GP for Kent and wrote the National RCGP training toolkit for Child Safeguarding. She has become an active member of the NZ medical and education community since her arrival in NZ.
She is a rural GP in Southland, a National Care Pathways (HealthPathways) Clinical Editor and holds multiple roles in supervision and education, for MCNZ, Otago Medical School and RNZCGP, including leading the Southland GP training scheme.
