Ray completed his specialist postgraduate medical and neurology training in the UK, moving to Auckland three years ago. He has a specialist interest in the management of headache disorders having previously undertaken research into headache disorders at King’s College London. For his research work, he was awarded a Doctorate in Clinical Neuroscience by King’s College London. He was conferred a Fellow of The Royal College of Physicians, London and Fellow of the Australasian College of Physicians. He has experience in managing various neurological disorders and has good experience using Botox for chronic migraine, greater occipital nerve blocks, neuromodulation in headache disorders. Moreover, he also has experience using the novel CGRP antibodies for headache disorders.
