Bio:
Catherine currently works at Auckland University of Technology where she teaches Pharmacology and conducts research in metabolic health disorders, especially those associated with hyperinsulinaemia. Catherine first registered as a Pharmacist in 1998, and has worked as a clinical and deprescribing pharmacist in both community and hospital settings. Her academic focus is teaching pharmacology to undergraduate health science students, supervising post-graduate research in metabolic health and conducting her own research on the non-glycaemic implications of hyperinsulinemia. Outside of AUT, Catherine is on the faculty of PreKure and is currently undergoing her own health coach training.
