Dr Sandra Richardson is a Nurse Researcher at the Emergency Department, Waitaha, Te Whatu Ora (Christchurch Hospital). Her career has been predominantly in emergency nursing, and she completed her PhD focussing on the challenge of understanding ED overcrowding. She has taught at the Universities of Otago and Canterbury in the role of senior lecturer, teaching postgraduate students and supervising research students at a range of levels.
