KIM FULLER, Clinical Nurse Consultant IDEA Services/IHC
Nic, based in Otautahi Christchurch, trained as a speech-language therapist in the 1990s and now consults on research, service development, and education for learning disability providers. She works in an inclusive way, advocating for co-designed approaches, enabling people with learning disabilities to lead projects and influence outcomes. Nic focuses on health equity, end-of-life care, and Advance Care Planning.
Kim, based in Whangarei, is the Clinical Nurse Consultant for IDEA Services/IHC National Clinical Team, with over 30 years’ experience in health and disability sectors. She advocates for equitable access to health services for people with intellectual disabilities and leads a Community of Practice for IDEA Services, improving health literacy and wellbeing. She is an associate member of Nurse Executives Aotearoa and the National Palliative Care Steering Group for Health New Zealand, Te Whatu Ora.
