Headway Brain Injury Auckland
Toni graduated from AUT with a Diploma in Physiotherapy in 1989 and since then she has spent the majority of her career working in the area of acquired brain injury rehabilitation; working in the acute hospital setting, inpatient rehabilitation centres, and for community based rehabilitation providers. She has provided rehabilitation for people who have sustained mild, moderate or severe brain injury. She joined Headway Brain Injury Auckland in 2023 to raise awareness of acquired brain injury in the community and assist in empowering those impacted by brain injury to live their best life.

Explore the signs and symptoms of concussion, red flags, when to escalate to acute care as well as identifying the risk indicators for prolonged recovery and which patients would benefit from being referred to specialist services.
