Dean is a Palliative Medicine Specialist working at Mercy Hospice in Auckland. He dual-trained as a General Physician and Palliative Medicine Physician and has an interest in clinical education. He is an Honorary Senior Lecturer in Medicine at the University of Auckland. This presentation will focus on the decision-making around emergencies in Palliative Care as well as exploring issues related to investigation and management of specific emergencies.
