This presentation highlights the complications associated with advanced dementia and the management of common symptoms and indications for medication deprescribing. It also examines different types of dementia, such as vascular, frontotemporal, and Lewy body dementia, and their unique care challenges. The aim of the presentation is to increase awareness of the unique care needs for individuals with dementia at the end-of-life.
