Stuart Cook
Critical Care Flight Paramedic / Crewman.

Stuart has worked in the ambulance sector for over 24 years in a multitude of roles spanning clinical operations, HEMS, programme development, vocational and tertiary education – both at home in Aotearoa New Zealand and overseas. He is a registered Paramedic in both New Zealand and Australia. He has completed his Masters of Health Practice in Paramedicine as well as further post graduate study in Advanced Resuscitation and Emergency Management. His interests include remote and austere medicine, and the use of technology to facilitate remote education. Stuart currently works as a Rescue Crewman/Flight Paramedic on the Westpac Rescue Helicopter based in Christchurch. He is a new arrival to the South Island with his family. And wonders why they didn’t move to the South Island earlier.
